Rescue 2 work with a lot of Water Authorities and Utility companies to provide Confined Space Entry and Rescue cover for workers and contractors that are required to undertake repairs, surveys and maintenance underground.
Before committing teams into potentially dangerous working environments it is critical to have a suitable rescue provision in place. Our experience and knowledge allows Rescue 2 to provide dynamic risk assessments and suggest new safer ways of carrying out dangerous work, as well as being on hand to provide and emergency Rescue provision should an emergency situation arise.
This weekend, the Rescue 2 team was busy working on a Confined Space operation in Whitechapel, London.
With a basic team setup – 1 team leader, 2 rescue technicians, and van full of kit they provided top level cover for sewer cleaning (water jetting and vacuuming) for Thames Water.
