The additional contracts this year have enabled Rescue 2 to expand, and recruit additional Technical Rescue Specialists. We can also now provide an additional Paramedic service.
This expansion has required the purchase and investment in additional vehicles and equipment – including a fourth Rescue Response vehicle, and a fully functional Ambulance.
We have also invested in additional essential equipment such as winches, radios, gas monitors and numerous other items.
This expansion has enabled us to tender for and win some much larger contracts.
We now have over 45 trained emergency service and industry specialists available for the Rescue 2 teams. On busy weeks, we can have as many as 15 specialists deployed in any one day, to contracts and projects around the country.
That’s a lot of equipment, vehicles and logistics to manage!
